Somewhere between a biology textbook and a blacksmith's workshop, this heart got a full mechanical retrofit — riveted iron plating and brass gears turning quietly in the background like the whole thing runs on clockwork instead of blood. And then, right through the wrought-iron cage over the chest, cherry blossoms bloom anyway — because apparently even a heart built out of scrap metal still finds a way to grow something soft.
